Today i want to continue about this IT topic which is strategic initiatives..What i know bout this topic is there are involve supply chain management,customer relationship mgt,biz process reengineering n entreprise resource planning..
Supply chain management is involve the mgt of info flows between n among stages in supply chain to max total supply chain effectiveness n profitability.So what i understand is when the company has reached a max level effectiveness about the product so that they have the productivity..Cost of the product is also low n can save time of customer..Example for buy a topup for handpon we must go to shop and it takes time but know there is many choice to buy it through ATM, internet and others..This supply chain involve 4 basic component which is strategy,partners,operations and logistic.For strategy its about planning how the product can meet demand of the customer..Partners is bout raw material, services,merchandise for supplier,operation is the schedule of production activities and logistic is about delivery processes and elemets.
CRM..What is CRM??It is all about customer relationship management.It involve manage all aspect of customer relationship.For me to increase customer loyalty and retention and also to increase organizational profit is how the organizational deal with their customer.If the customer satisfy with the product for example of the company so it will increase the profit of the company indirectly. :)
- Function for this CRM are
-->design individuals customer through marketing campaign
-->treat each customer as an individuals
-->understand customer buying behavior
Biz process is standardize set of activities that accomplish specific task such as processing's customer order.Biz process reengineering is analysis and redesign of workflow within and between enterprise.Purpose BPR is to make all biz process the best in class!!! ;)..Its like in a process it has sub of processes.Example like MCD..When the customer order at counter and get the food they must buy at there..There is 7 principals of BPR that are :
- organize around outcomes,not task
- identify all the organizations processes and prioritize them in order of redesign urgency
- integrate info processes work into real work that produces the info
- treat geographical dispersed resources as though they were centralized
- link parallel activities in the workflow instead of just integrating their result
- put the decision point where the work is performed and build control into the process
- capture info once and at the source
Enterprise resource planning is they integrates all dept functions throughout an organizations into a asingle IT system so that employees can make decisions by viewing enterprise wide info on all biz operations.Its mean we collect all the data and put all the info in the organization..Simple like that :)..Its very important to know its keyword which is enterprise...Hop u guys and understand what i try to say :)
